Where have the last few months gone? Could it be that we have had too much going on, too much fun even and certainly not enough time to update our blog? Well rest assured, we have a wonderful collection of photographs to remind you of what we have been up to. Some of you will recognise yourself (and yes, we do have your permission) and for those of you who weren’t able to join us, we guarantee that some of these photos will make you feel like you were there with us.
It is important that we remind ourselves just how much has been going on, especially as we continue to emerge from lockdown and when some of our members are still feeling anxious and cautious about returning. It is also important to acknowledge, just how much hard work goes on behind the scenes to make all this magic happen. A great big massive thank you to all of you.
So without too much writing, (and please go back and read posts from earlier this year) here is a little summary of some of the activities that have kept our #headwaylancasterandmorecambebay members happy and healthy. Enjoy!!
Virtual Horticulture: Growing from seed at home
Duke of Edinburgh Student works alongside one of our members at the allotment and of course our 4 legged friend Tyson
Our Plant Sale fundraiser
Our Golf Day fundraiser at #LymmGolfClub
Our #meninshedslancasteranddistrict who restored our shed roof
Our amazing green fingered @LynneMoran and her carpenter hubbie, Graham whose talents between them are overwhelming and who paved the way for an enchanting late summer allotment party to celebrate the lives of our precious friends who passed away. A very precious time of sharing food and friendships in the sunshine.
Our intrepid adventurers as they brave the challenges thrown at them by the incredible team of professionals at the #calvertrustkeswick and #blackwellsailing. Bring it on!!
