Lancaster and Morecambe Bay

Supporting brain injury survivors their families and friends

How do we Help

Headway Lancaster and Morecambe Bay is an active group that supports victims of head injury and their families. we run monthly drop in sessions, social activities and a range of support. Through our national connections we are able to link individuals and their families o a whole range of information and support. At Headway, people use insight and care to help survivors regain some quality of life through a wide range of services including rehabilitation programmes, carer support, social re-intergration, community outreach and respite care.

There is always something to do every single week.

We try new things, we raise funds, we make friends and we smile. We meet up regularly offering monthly daytime drop-in sessions, monthly evening socials, special days out, activity weekends at the Calvert Trust, and tending our allotment.

Why not join us at one of our drop in sessions or evening socials.?

We meet on the first Wednesday of every month at Father’s House Elim Church, Owen Road, Lancaster LA1 2AP, 1pm-3pm (earlier if you want to have lunch in their fantastic cafe) and on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7pm-9pm at Vale of Lune Rugby Club, Powder House Lane, LA1 2TT.

Check out our What’s on Calendar to see what else is happening and when we meet up at our Dorrington Road Allotment.
